A check of the USGS website showed that the Beaverkill at Cooks Falls was flowing 787 cubic feet per second, which is above the average level for July 24 of 149 cfs over 103 years of record-keeping. The minimum flow recorded was 44 cubic feet per second back in 1965, and the maximum flow recorded on July 24 was 7230 cfs in 2008. 

    Water temperatures this past week ranged from a high of 77 degrees F mid-week to a low of 65 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday morning.
